Considerations

  • Keep copy to the: WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and WHY.
  • Be sure to add whether it is a paid or free event.
  • Detail what perks are offered to attendees.
  • This format is to help organize the copy and key details, typically you will be reposting this to an online form so it is posted on the blog or online outlet.
  • Don’t forget a photo — this might be an option on the form, but it is a necessary detail to include as it helps “sell” your event. Always credit the photographer along with image.
